COMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, SPECIAL MEETING
COMMISSIONERS ROOM,
SALINA, KANSAS
JULY 15, 1946.
Special Meeting of the Board of Commissioners July 15, 1946. Meeting was
called to order by Mayor Price, the roll was called and Commissioners Price, Breon,
Noyce and Simpson and City Attorney Clark responded. Commissioner Moore absent.
Meeting was held for the purpose of acting on the appraisers reports for the
curbing and guttering the following streets:
ARTHUR AVENUE from North Street to Lincoln Avenue,
CHARLES STREET from Twelfth Street to Phillips Street,
CHARLES STREET from Phillips Street to Montrose Avenue,
EIGHTH STREET from Hamilton Avenue to Antrim Avenue,
GARFIELD AVENUE from North Street to Lincoln Avenue,
GRANT AVENUE from North Street to Lincoln Avenue,
LINCOLN AVENUE from Grant Avenue to Arthur Street,
NORTH STREET from Front Street to Arthur Street,
SEVENTH STREET From Hamilton Avenue to Otis Avenue, and
SEVENTH STREET from Lincoln Avenue to Decatur Avenue.
The appraisers rep6rt for the curbing and guttering of Arthur Avenue from
North Street to Lincoln Avenue was taken up and read as follows:

We, J. Earl Wyatt, Wm. F. Grosser, Jr., and John Frederick, being duly and
severally sword according to law, each for himself, does hereby solenmly swear that
he is disinterested in any of the property liable to special assessment for the cost
of curbing and guttering Arthur Avenue from North Street to Lincoln Avenue, in the
City of Salina, Kansas, as more particularly described and provided for in Ordinance
Number 5144 of the City of Salina, Kansas, and that each of us will to the best of
our judgment and ability make a true and impartial appraisement of all the lots
and pieces of ground on such street as above mentioned, without regard to the
buildings or improvements thereon, for the distance improved as set forth and desig-
nated by the Board of Commissioners in the ordinance above mentioned. So help us
