COMMISSIONERS ROOM,

JANUARY 14, 1946
Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners January 14, 1946. Meeting
was called to order by Mayor Moore, the roll was called and Commissioners Moore,
Noyce and Simpson and City Attorney Clark responded. Commissioners Breon and Price
absent.

Commissioner Simpson moved that applications be approved and license
granted. Motion adopted.
An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled: "An ordinance
granting the Missouri Pacific Railroad Company, its successors and assigns, the
right to construct, reconstruct and maintain a standard gauge railroad switch or
spur track, at grade thereof, over, upon and across North Fifth Street between Lots
Twenty -Two (22) and Twenty -One (21) on Fifth Street in the original town of Salina,
Saline County, Kansas, and over, upon and across the North and South alley between
Lots Twenty-one (21) on Fifth Street and Twenty -Two (22) on Fourth Street, both in
the Original Town of Salina, Saline Coutty, Kansas and providing for the maintenance
thereof." Ordinance was referred to the Board of Commissioners.
Application Number 373, asking for building permit for the erection of a
building on Lot 2, Block 29, Military Addition (901 North Ninth Street) was pre-

Commissioner Noyce moved that the City Manager meet the Payroll of
January 15th, 1946. Motion adopted.
On motion of Commissioner Noyce the Board of Commissioners adjourned.
