01-07-1946 Minutes1 1 1 1 COMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, REGULAR MEETING COMMISSIONERS ROOM, SALINA. KANSAS. JANUARY 7, 1946 Regular Meeting of the Board of Conanisdioners January 7, 1946, Mr. Carl S. Byers submitted his resignation as City Attorney, and City Manager appointed C. L. Clark as City Attorney to fill vacancy. On motion of Commissioner Price appointment was confirmed by the Board of Co mmissioners. Meeting was called to order by Mayor Moore, the roll was called and Commis- sioners Moore, Breon, Noyce, Price and Simpson and City Attorney Clark responded. Motion adopted. An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled: "An ordinance relating to and fixing the salaries of certain officers and employees of the City of Salina and repealing Section 5 of Ordinance No. 5141." On motion of Commissioner -Price the ordinance was read and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Moore, Breon, Noyce, Price and Simpson (5) Nayss (0) Mayor approved the ordinance and it is numbered 5136. Commissioner Breon moved that application of A. A. Riker, dated January 7th, 1946, for building to be erected on Lots 62, 64 and 66, Ninth Street, Grounds of Kansas Wesleyan University, be granted.
