Special meeting of -the Board of Commissioners August 20, 1945. Meeting was
called to order by Mayor Moore, the roll was called and Commissioners Moores,
Breon, Noyce, Price and Simpson and City Attorney Byers responded.

The appraisers report for the curbing and guttering Franklin Street from
Sheridan to Merrill was taken up and read as follows:

severally sworn, each for himself, does hereby solemnly swear that he is disinterested
iq any of the property liable to special assessment for the cost of curbing and
guttering Franklin Street from the west line of Sheridan Street to the east line
of Merrill Street, as more particularly described and provided for in Ordinance
i Number 5081 of the City of Salina, Kansas, and that each of us will to the best
of our judgment and ability make a true and impartial appraisement of all the lots
and pieces of ground abutting on such street as above mentioned, without regard

Commissioner Simpson moved that report be adopted as read. Motion Adopted.
The Appraisers report for the curbing and guttering of West Place from Elm to
Park was taken up and read as follows:

We, J. Earl lyyatt, John Frederick and h -m. F. Grosser, Jr., being duly and
severally sworn, each for himself, does hereby solemnly swear that he is disinterested
in any of the proerty liable to special assessment for the cost of curbing and
guttering Vilest Place from the south line of Elm Street to the north line of Park
Street, as more particularly described and provided for in Ordinance Number 5081
of the City of Salina, Kansas, and that each of us will to the best of out judgment
and ability make a true and impartial appraisement of all the lots and pieces of
ground abutting on such street as above mentioned, without regard to the buildings
or improvements thereon, for the distance improved as set forth and desingated
by the Board of Commissioners in the ordinance above ment'_oned. So help us
God.
