COMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, REGULAR MEETING

JULY 16. 1945
Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners July 16, 1945. Meeting was
called to order by Mayor Moore, the roll was called and Commissioners Moore, Breon,
Noyce, Price and Simpson and City Attorney Byers responded.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of July 9, 1945 wereread and approved as
read.
Letter was received f rom the City Planning Commission, in reference to the
re -zoning of the southwest corner of Ninth Street and Crawford Avenue. Commissioner
Breon moved that the Board of City Commissioners meet in adjourned session Tuesday,
July 17th, at 7:00 P. M. to consider the zoning matter. Motion adopted.

Mausoleum Deed, for the sale of Crypt Number 136 to Mrs. C. A. Richards, was
presented to the Board of Commissioners, and on motion of Commissioner Noyce the
Mayor was authorized to sign the Deed on behalf of the City of Salina, Kansas.

A communication was received from the Chamber ofommerce of Salina, Kansas,
in regard to off-street parking facilities. Letter as order6d filed.
A communication was presented from The League of ansas Municipalities, asking
the City to work out an arrangement by which a 1 -day district meeting can be held
September 219 1945 in the City of Salina. City Manager vias authorized to make full
arrangement for the meeting.

City Manager reported favorable on the following sewer petitions:
Arthur Avenue_ from North Street to Lincoln Avenue; —i
Garfield Avenue from North Street to Lincoln Avenue; and
North Street from Front Street to Arthur Aven�B, and
recommended that the City Attorney prepare the necessary ordinance. Report adopted
by the Board of Commissioners.
