BE IT REMEMBERED, that on Friday, March 23, 1945, the Board of Commissioners
met as a Board of Canvassers, (ex -officio) as provided by law, to canvass the vote
cast at the Primary Election held in Salina, Kansas, March 20, 1945.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Morgenstern, the roll was called
and Commissioners Morgenstern, Breon, Price and Simpson and City Attorney Byers re-
sponded. Commissioner Moore absent.
The returns of the Primary Election were presented by the City Clerk and
opened in the presence of the Commissioners assembled, duly canvassed and the
result declared, and the City Clerk was directed by vote of the Board to spread
upon the records the result of the canvass which is done as follows:

On motion of Commissioner Price the City Clerk made record as to the
result of the canvass that the following named persons are nominated to the offices
to be filled:

On motion of Commissioner Price the report and findings of the Canvassing
Board were received and ordered spread upon the records, and the persons above
named be declared nominated to the respective offices above set forth. Motion
adopted.
On motion of Commissioner Breon the Board of Commissioners adjourned.
