COMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, REGULAR MELTING
COMMISSIONERS ROOM,
SALINA, KANSAS.
MARCH 12, 1945
Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners Mal ch 12, 1945. Meeting was
called to order by Acting Mayor Price, the roll was caped and Commissioners Price,
Breon and Simpson responded. Commissioners Vorgensternland Moore and City Attorney
Byers absent.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of March 5, 1645 were read and approved
as read.
Application for taxicab drivers license for the year 1945 received as follows:

On motion of Commissioner Simpson application was approved by the Board of
Commissioners and license granted for day driving only.! Motion adopted.
A petition was presented asking for the curbing,guttering and grading of
Front Street from Ash Street to Elm Street. Petition 4s referred to t he City
Manager.
Acting Mayor Price submitted the names of the fo�lowing Judges and Clerks,
as of date of March 9th, 1945, for the Primary Election, of March 20th, 1945 and
Regular City Election of April 3rd, 1945:

On motion of Commissioner Breon appointments were confirmed by the Board
of Commissioners. Motion adopted.
Commissioner Simpson moved that the City Manager be authorized to sell
the horse barn for $500.00. Motion adopted.
Acting Mayor Price submitted the name of Miss Grace Stewart as a member
of the Library Board to fill vacancy created by the death of Mrs. J. Earl Wyatt.
On motion of Commissioner Breon appointment was confirmed by the Board of Com-
missioners.
Commissioner Breon moved that the City Manager be authorized to purchasa
a pump for the Sewage Disposal Plant. Motion adopted.
Commissioner Simpson moved that the City Manager be authorized to pur-
chase a mower for the Gypsum Hill Cemetery. Motion adopted.
City Manager was authorized to meet the Payroll of March 15th, 1945.
On motion of Commissioner Breon the Board of Commissioners adjourned.
