02-12-1945 Minutes208 COMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, REGULAR MEETING COMMISSIONERS ROOM, SAL INA, KANSAS. _ FEBRUARY 12, 1945 Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners February 12, 1945. Meeting was called to order by Acting Mayor Price, the roll ms called and Commissioners Price, Moore and Simpson and City Attorney Byers responded. Commissioners Morgenstern and Breon absent. The minutes of the Regular Meeting of February 5, 1945 and Special Meeting of February 5, 1945 were read and approved as read. Commissioner Simpson moved that Cereal Malt Beverage License issued to Mrs. Elsie Hoffman, d/b/a Elsie's Cafe at 535 North Santa Fe Avenue be suspended for sixty days from this date. Motion adopted. Application for taxicab drivers license for the year 1945 received as follows: A. F,, Harris Commissioner Simpson moved that application be approved and license granted. Motion adopted. Commissioner Moore moved that the City Manager be authorized to meet the Payroll of February 15, 1945. Motion adopted. Mausoleum Deed for the sale of Crypt Number 150 to Robert N. Howard, was presented to the Board of Commissioners. On motion of Commissioner Simpson same was approved by the Board of Commissioners and the Acting Mayor was authorized to sign Deed on behalf of the City of Salina. Motion adopted. The appraisers report for the construction of Lateral Sanitary Sewer Dumber 199, in Hancock Street from venango Street to Republic avenue was received, and ` on motion of Commissioner Moore, Monday, February 19th, 1945 at 7s30 P. M. was designated as a Special Meeting to act onlaid report, and the City Clerk was in- structed to publish notice in the official City paper as provided by law. Motion adopted. On motion of Commissioner Simpson the Board of Commissioners adjourned. i City Clerk
