COMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, REGULAR MEETING
COMMISSIONERS ROOM,
SALINA, KANSAS.
JANTJARY 22, 1945
Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners January 22, 1945. Meeting
was called to order by Mayor Morgenstern, the roll was called and Commissioners
Morgenstern, Breon, Moore, Price and Simpson and City Attorney Byers responded.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of January 16, 1945 were read and approved
as read.
Applications for taxicab drivers license for the year 1945 received as followss

Robert Lee Swenson
Commissioner Price moved that applications be approved and license granted.
Motion adopted.

Commissioner Price moved that applications be approved rind license granted
for day driving only. Motion adopted.
+ An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled: "An ordinance rati-
fying and confirming a contract with H. J. Taylor Construction Company for the
construction of certain paving and grading improvements on Park Street in the City
of Salina, Kansas, and providing for the issuance of temporary notes to pay the

cost thereof pending the issuance and sale of bonds."

, I tions and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had:
Ayes: Morgenstern, Breon, Moore, Price and Simpson (5) Nays: (U) Mayor
approved the ordinance and it is numbered 5076.

Commissioner Breon :roved that the City install three flood gates on the
sewer system. Motion adopted.
City Engineers plans and specifications for the above work werefiled and
approved.
On motion of Commissioner Moore the Board of Commissioners adjourned.
