Special Meeting of the Board of Commissioners December 18, 1944. Meeting
was called to order b7Wyor Morgenstern,,the roll was galled and Commissioners
Morgenstern, Moore, Price and Simpson and City Attorney Byers responded. Commission-
er Breon absent. ;
Meeting was held for the purpose of acting on the appraisers reports"for the
construction of the following lateral sanitary sewers:
Number 192 , in the alley east of Eleventh from Harsh to Inez;
Number 196, in the alley south of Claflin from Eleventh to Ninth;
Number 197 in the alley south of Woodlawn from Eleventh to Ninth;
and for the paving of:
Park Street from the Missouri Pacific Railroad to Chicago Street.
The appraisers report for the construction of Lateral Sanitary Sewer Number
192 was taken up and read as follows:

We. J. Earl Wyatt, John Frederick and Mm. F. Grosser Jr., being duly and
severally sworn according to law, each for himself, does hereby solemnly swear
that he is disinterested in any of the property liable to special assessment for
the cost of constructing Lateral Sanitary Sewer Number 192 , in the alley east
of Eleventh Street from Harsh to Into, as more partiou ar y described and provided
for in Ordinance Number 5058 of the City of Salina, Kansas, and that each of us
will to the best of our judgment and ability make a true and impartial appraisement
of all the lots and pieces of ground abutting on such street as above mentioned,
without regard to the buildings or improvements t'-ereon, for the distance improved
as set forth and designated by the Board of Commissioners in the ordinance above
mentioned. So help us God.
