Regular Meeting of the Board of Co mmissioners December 18, 1944. Meeting
was called to order by Mayor Morgenstern.
j Mr. H. C. Simpson Jr., newly elected,City Commissioner; having filed his
official bond, approved by the Judge of the District Court, the oath of office was
administered to him by Chas. E. Banker, City Clerk.

The roll was called and Commissioners Morgenstern, Moore, Price and Simpson
j and City Attorney Byers responded. Commissioner Breon absent.
An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance making appropriation
for the payment of certain claims."
On motion of Commissioner Price the ordinance was read and adopted by sections
and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes:
Morgenstern, Moore, Price and Simpson (4) Nays: (0) Commissioner Breon absent.
Mayor approved the ordinance and it is numbered A-261.
An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance making appropriation
for the payment of certain claims."
On motion of Commissioner Moore the ordinance was read and adopted by sec-
tions and on its final adoption the roll was called and Commissioners Morgenstern,
Moore, Price and Simpson voted yes (4) Nays: (0) Commissioner Breon absent.
Mayor approved the ordinance and it is numbered A-262.
A resolution was introduced entitled: "A Resolution relating to the issuance
j of Temporary Notes in the amount of $8821.49 and $5273.09 (Curb, Gutter & Paving)."

On motion of Commissioner Simpson the resolution was adopted a.s read and on
its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Mor-
genstern, Moore, Price and Simpson (4) Nays: (0) Commissioner Breon absent.
Mayor approved the resolution and it is numbered 866.

Mayor approved the ordinance and it is numbered A-264.
Combination Gas Fitters and Plumbing Bond was presented from Dan G. Kastner,
d/b/a City Plumbing Company. On motion of Commissioner Price same was approved
by the Board of Commissioners. Motion adopted.
On motion of Commissioner Moore the Board of Commissioners adjourned to meet
in Regular Session, Tuesday, December 26, 1944 at 7:30 P. M. on account of Monday,
December 25th, 1944, being a legal holiday,
