Meeting wase alled to order by Mayor Morgenstern, the roll was called and Commissioners Mor- genstern, Moore and Price and City Attorney Byers responded. Commissioners Breon and Elliott absent. The minutes of the Regular Meeting of November 27, 1944 were read and approved as read. An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance making an appropria- tion for the payment of certain claims." On motion Commissioner Price the ordinance was read and adopted by sec- tions and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Morgenstern, Moore and Price (3) Nays: (0) Commissioners Breon and Elliott absent. Mayor approved the ordinance and it is numbered A-260. A resolution was introduced for second reading entitled: "A Resolution relating to the curbing, guttering and grading of Seventh Street from the south line of Hamilton Avenue to the north line of Otis Avenue. On motion of Commissioner Price the resolution was adopted as read and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayess Mor- genstern, Moore and Price (3) Nays: (0) Commissioners Breon and Elliott absent. Mayor approved the resolution and it is numbered 865. The above resolution is recorded in full on Page 247, Resolution Book Number 3. Trust Deed, with a deposit of $100.00 was received from The Planters State Bank, Salina, Kansas, Administrator of Richard Robertson, Estate, for the perpetual care of Lot 23, Block 7, in the Gypsum Hill Cemetery of Salina, Kansas. On motion of Commissioner Moore, deed was approved by the Board of Commis- sioners, and the City Treasurer was instructed to place the deposit in the Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Lot Owners Endowment Fund, as provided by Ordinance Number 3530 of the City of Salina, Kansas. Motion adopted. A petition was presented asking for the curbing, guttering and paving of Hancock Street from the north line of Illinois Street to the north line of Venango Street. Petition was referred to the City Manager. An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled: "An ordinance creating and defining certain Lateral Sanitary Sewer District in the City of Salina designated as Lateral Sanitary Sewer District Number 199 so created, providing for the cost thereof and for the levying of special assessments against the property in said district for the payment of such construction and for the issuing of bonds therefor." Ordinance was referred to the Board of Commissioners. On motion of Commissioner Moore the Board of Commissioners adjourned. City Clerk
