Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners February 7, 1944.
Meeting was called to order by Mayor Morgenstern, the roll was called and
Commissioners Morgenstern, Breon and Price and City Attorney Clark responded.
Commissioners Elliott and Moore absent.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of January 31, 1944 were read and
approved as read.

Application for taxicab drivers license for the year 1944 received as
Dorothy Hudspeth
Commissioner Breon moved that application be approved and license granted
for day driving only. Motion adopted.
A letter was received from A. J. Bachofer withdrawing his name from
the proposed appointment as the Master Plumbers representative on the Plumbing
Examiners Board. On motion letter was ordered filed.
Mayor Morgenstern appointed Thos. L. Bayne, R. S. Fassnacht and Edgar W.
Heyl as members of the Board of Health of the City of Salina, Kansas. Commis-
sioner Price moved that appointments be confirmed by the Board of Commissioners.
Motion adopted.
Mayor Morgenstern appointed Jos. Morris as the Master Plumbers repre-
sentative on the Plumbers Examining Board. Commissioner Breon moved that
appointment be confirmed by the Board of Commissioners. Motion adopted.
City Manager reported that he had an offer of $175.00 for the purchase
of the South 70 feet of Lot 2 and the East 50 feet of Lot 4, Block 2, Bebbe's
Addition to the City of Salina, Kansas. Commissioner Breon moved that offer
be accepted by the City of Salina, Kansas. Motion adopted.
A resolution was introduced for first reading entitled: "A Resolution
relating to and providing for the sale of certain real estate by the City of
Salina unto John A. Ross." Referred to the Board of Commissioners.
City Manager reported on the Post-war meeting held at Topeka, Kansas,
February 3rd and 4th, 1944.
On motion of Commissioner Breon-the Board of Commissioners adjourned.
