Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners September 27, 1943.
Meeting was called to order by Acting Mayor Price, the roll was called and Com-
missioners Price, Breon, Elliott and Moore responded. Commissioner Morgenstern
and City Attorney Clark absent.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of September 24th, 1943 were read and
approved as read.
Application for a house moving permit to move a chicken house owned by
Bill DeBolt from one mile east of Salina, crossing the Iron Avenue Bridge,
was received from Roy Divilbiss. Commissioner Breon moved that permission
be granted. Motion adopted.
An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled: "An ordinance
providing for the curbing, guttering and grading of College Avenue from the
south line of Morrison Avenue to the north line of Prescott Avenue; Montrose
Avenue from the south line of Morrison Avenue tot he north line of Prescott
Avenue; and Tenth Street from the south line of Wilson Street to the north line
of Republic Avenue, an providing for the cost of such improvements and how the
same shall be assessed and the manner of payment therefor." Ordinance was !
referred to the Board of Commissioners.
On motion of Commissioner Moore the Board of Commissioners adjourned to
meet in regular session Thursday, September 30th, 1943 at 11:45 A. M.
