COMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, REGULAR MEETING
COMMISSIONERS ROOM,
SAL INA, KANSAS.
SEPPEMBER 24, 1943.
Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners September 24, 1943.
Meeting was called to order by Mayor Morgenstern, the roll was called and
Commissioners Morgenstern, Elliott, Moore and Price and City Attorney Clark
responded. Commissioner Breon absent.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of September 13th, 1943 and Regular
Meeting of September 15th, 1943 were read and approved as read.
An application for taxicab drivers license for the year 1943 received
as follows:
Clarence W. Nilson
Commissioner Moore moved that application be approved and license granted.
Motion adopted.
A petition was presented asking for the curbing and guttering of
Pershing Street from Jewell Avenue to Kirwin Avenue. Referred to the City
Manager.
A plat was presented for the re -platting of part of Blocks One and
Two in Evergreen Park Addition to the City of Salina, Kansas. Same was
referred to the City Planning Commission.
An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance making appropriation
for the payment of certain claims."
On motion of Commissioner Elliott t e ordinance was read and adopted
by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following
vote was had; Ayes: Morgenstern, Elliott, Moore and Price (4) Nays: (0)
Commissioner Breon absent. Mayor approved the ordinance and it is numbered
212-A.
Combination Plumbers and Gas Fitters Bonds received as follows:
Frank Mealin
F. J. Kastner
Commissioner Price moved that bonds be approved by the Board of C om-
missioners. Motion adopted.
On motion of Commissioner Moore the Board of Commissioners adjourned.
