COMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, REGULAR MEETING
COMMISSIONERS ROOM,
SALINA, KANSAS.
SEPTEMBER. 15, 1943.
Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners September 15, 1943.
Meeting was called to order by Mayor Morgenstern, the roll was called and Com-
missioners Morgenstern, Breon, Elliott and Price and City Attorney Clark
responded. Commissioner Moore absent.
An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance making appropriation
for the payment of certain claims."
On motion of Commissioner Price the ordinance was read and adopted by
sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was
had; Ayes: Morgenstern, Breon, Elliott and Price (4) Nays: (0) Commission-
er Moore absent. Mayor approved the ordinance and it is numbered A-211.
Commissioner Breon moved that the City Manager be authorized to purchase
with the surplus cash funds in the Watervrorks Department Fund, War Bonds in the
amount of $10,000.00, to be held in the Waterworks Department Fund in lieu of the
cash used for the purchase of such bonds. Motion adopted.
On motion of Commissioner Price the Board of Commissioners adjourned.
