Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners Septer.,ber 13, 1943.
Meeting was called to order by Mayor Morgenstern, the roll was called and
Commissioners Morgenstern, Breon, Elliott, Moore and Price and City Attorney
Clark responded.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of September 7th, 1943 were read
and approved as read.

Applications for taxicab drivers license for the year 1943 received as
Alva 0. Hoyt
Edward Golledge
Fred R. Hollis
On motion of Commissioner Breon applications were approved and license
granted. Motion adopted.
A claim in the amount of $102.50 for articles stolen at the Municipal
Swimming Pool of Salina, Kansas, was presented from Donald E. Lane. Commissioner
Breon moved that same be allowed by the Board of Commissioners. Motion adopted.
Trust Deed with a deposit of $75.00 was received from Mrs. May Bent
Fritchie, for perpetual care of the North 1/2 of Lot 29, Block 9, in the Gypsum
Hill Cemetery of Salina, Kansas,
Commissioner Price moved that Trust Deed be approved by the Board of
Commissioners, and that the City Treasurer be instructed to place the deposit
in the Gypsum Hill Cemetery Lot Owners Endowment Fund as provided by Ordinance
Number 3530 of the City of Salina, Kansas. Motion adopted.
Mausoleum Deed for the sale of Crypts numbered 372 and 373 in the
Hillcrest Memorial Mausoleum to Be A. Strickler was presented, and on Motion
of Commissioner Elliott the Mayor was authorized to sign deed on behalf of the
City of Salina, Kansas. Motion adopted.
On motion of Commissioner Moore the Board of Commissioners adjourned
to meet in regular session Wednesday, September 15th, 1943 at 11:45 A. M.
