MAY 29, 1943.
Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners May 29, 1943. Meeting
was called to order by Acting Mayor Price, the roll was called and Commissioners
Elliott, Moore and Price responded. Commissioners Morgenstern and Breon and
City Attorney Norris absent.
An ordinance was introduced entitled: " An ordinance making appropriation
for the payment of certain claims."
On motion of Commissioner Elliott the ordinance was read and adopted by
sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was
had; Ayes: Price, Elliott and Moore (3) Nays: (0) Commissioners Morgen-
stern and Breon absent. Acting Mayor approved the ordinance and it is numbered
A-201.
Commissioner Moore moved that the Salina Transit Company be given permis-
sion to load and unload passengers for the Air Base bus, at the southwest corner
of Santa Fe Avenue and Walnut Street. Motion adopted.
On motion of Commissioner Moore the Board of Commissioners adjourned.
