Special meeting of the Board of Commissioners February 16, 1949.
1,eeti)was called to order by Layor Stedham, the roll was called and Commissioners
ioyce, Stedham and Stephenson and City Attorney Clark responded. Commissioners
Lindgren and Price absent.
Letter was presented from L. J. Allison, City i,.anager, regarding recom-
mendation of the Recreation Commission that City acquire the piece of ground
immediately south of Sunset Park to be developed for recreation purposes.
Commissioner Stephenson moved that ordinance be introduced on first
reading next IR4onday, providing for the calling and ho lding of an election to
vote upon the question of authorizing the Board of Commissioners to issue bonds
in the amount of X17>,jJ0.00 for a new fire Station. iLotion adopted.
On motion of Commissioner Noyce the Board of Commissioners adjourned.
