Special meeting of the Board of Corm-idssioners February 16, 1949.
i,eeting was called to order by Layor Stedham, the roll was called and Commissioners
Boyce, Stedham and Stephenson and City Attorney Clark responded. Commissioners
Lindgren and Price absent.
Letter was presented from E. J. Allison, City .tanager, regarding recom—
mendation of the Recreation Commission that City acquire the piece of ground
immediately south of Sunset Park to be developed for recreation purposes.
Cormnissioner Stephenson moved that ordinance be introduced on first
reading next L;onday, providing for the calling and ho lding of an election to
vote upon the quest Lon of authorizinf7 the Board of Commissioners to issue bonds
in the amount of 'J')175,CO0.00 for a new Lire Station. Lotion adopted.
On motion of Commissioner 'Noyce the Board of Corunissioners adjourned.
