Regular Leeting of the Board. of Commissioners December 20, 1948. Meeting
was called to orcer by Mayor Stedham, the roll was called and Commissioners Stedham,
Lindgren, and Stephenson and City Attorney Clark responded. Commissioners Noyce
and rice absent.
The minutes of the Regular Leeting of December 13, 1948 were read and appro-ved
as read.
Larry Gutsch appeared before the Board of Commissioners for the approval of
set of plans for the erection of a building on Lots 18 and 20, Block 3, Pacific
Addition, for Albert henry. Commissioner Stephenson moved that plans be
referred to City Manager for checking and if they meet requirements for him to author-
ize issuing of Building r'ermit. Carried.
Hearing on notice of intent to rezone the East 622 feet of Lots 15 and 16,
Block 3, Southern Heights Addition to "C" Commercial Zone was taken up by the Board
of Commissioners, and on motion, hearing was recessed until Next meeting. Carried.
City Engineer filed plans and specifications for the construction of Lateral
Sanitary Sewers numbered 234 and 235. Cormriissioner Lindgren moved that
same be approved by the Board of Commissioners and City Clerk was instructed to
advertise for bids to be received up to and including Iwnday, January 10, 1)48, at
7:30 o'clock P. I. Potion adopted.
An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance making appropriation
for the payment of certain claims."
1 On motion of Commissioner Stephenson the ordinance was read and adopted by
sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had:
Ayes: Stedham, Lindgren and Stephenson (3) days: (0) Commissioners Joyce and
Price absent. Mayor approved the ordinance and it is numbered A-446.
An ordinance -Lias introduced entitled: "An ordinance making appropriation

On motion of Comrrni.ssioner Lindgren the ordinance was read and adopted by
sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote 4as
had: --':yes: Stedham, Lindgren and Stephenson (3) Nays: (0) Commissioners
Noyce and Price absent. Itiayor approved the ordinance and it is numbered A-447.
Trust Deed, with a deposit of 05.00 was presnted from I:.rs. Flavilla Gafford,
for the perpetual care of the north 1/2 of Lot 40, Block 25, in the Gypsum Hill
Cem-tory, Salina, Ea.nsas. Commissioner Lindgren moved that TRust Deed be
approved by the Board of Commissioners and that City Treasurer place deposit in the
Gypsum Mill Cemetery Lot Uuners' Endowment Fund as provided by ordinance Number
3530 of tie City of Salina, Kansas. Motion adopted.
On ,notion of Commuissioner Stephenason the Board of Commissioners adjourned.
