COMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, SPECIAL MEETING
COMMISSIONERS ROOM,
SALINA, KANSAS.
AUGUST 12, 1948
Special Meeting of the Board of Commissioners August 12, 1948. Meeting
was called to order by Lfiayor Stedham, the roll was called and Commissioners
Stedham, Lindgren, ;Joyce and Stephenson and Attorney James P. Mize responded.
Commissioner Price and City Attorney Clark absent.
Pursuant to published notice, meeting was for hearing on Budget for the
year 1949.
Budget was taken up and read. On motion of Commissioner Stephenson
approved as read. Carried.
An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled: "An ordinance
making a levy of taxes for general revenue and other purposes by the City of Salina,
Kansas for the year 1949." Ordinance was referred to the Board of Commission-
ers,
On motion of Commissioner Lindgren the Board of Commissioners adjourned.
