COMMISSIONERS ROOM,
SALINA, KANSAS.
NOVEMBER 7, 1932.
Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners, November 7th
1932. Meeting was called to order by Mayor. Stevenson, the roll
was called and Commissioners Stevenson....Pafford and Spaeth and
City Attorney Norris responded. -Commissioners Benfield and Morey
absent.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of October 31, 1932, were
read and approved as read.
Commissioner Spaeth moved that.a temporary permit be granted
to Mission Lutheran Church for the.erection of a vestibule in front
of church on Eleventh street, south of Crawford Avenue.
An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance making
an appropriation for the payment of certain claims."
On motion of Commissioner.Yafford the -ordinance was read and
adopted by Sections and.on its final adoption the.roll was called
and the following.vote was had; Ayes: Stevenson, Pafford and Spaeth
(3) Nays: (0) Commissioners. Benfield and Morey absent. Mayor
approved the same and is numbered 4&13.
Trust Deed, with a deposit of $250.00, received from the
National Bank. of America, Executor of the estate.of Winfield W. Wat-
son, for the perpetual care of all of Lot 6, Block 19 in the Gypsum
Hill Cemetery of Salina, Kansas.
Commissioner Pafford moved that.aame be accepted by the Board
of Co=uissioners, and.that the City.Treasurer..be instructed to
place the deposit in the Gypsum -Hill Cemetery. Endowment Fund as
provided by Ordinance No. 3530 of the City of Salina.. Motion car-
ried.
Application No. 75 asking for the. erection. of a sign on
front of building located at 126 South. Fourth Street received from
the.National Biscuit Company.. On motion of Commissioner.Spaeth
same was approved by the. -Board -of Commissioners.
Application No. 760 asking for the erection of a sign on
front of vestibule at the Clayton Hotel was received. On motion of
Commissioner Spaeth.same.was approved by the. Board of Commissioners.
On motion of Commissioner Pafford the Board of Commissioners
adjourned*
