Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners, September 26,
1932. Meeting was calledtoorder by Mayor Stevenson, the roll was
called and Commiasioners to venson, Benfield, Morey, Pafford and
Spaeth and City Attorney Norris responded.
The minutes of the Regular.Meeting of September 19, 1932, were
j read and approved as read.
City Clerk was instructed to notify Mr. S. H. Buell that his
taxicab license will be cancelled September 30, 1932s for the reason
that the Red Top Cab Company has failed to pay W emium covering
liability policy for such taxicab.
Sign Application No. 68 received from Branson Sigh Company,
asking permission to construct temporary cloth signs on front of
Y. M. C. A. Building.. On.motion of Commissioner Spaeth permission
was granted by the Board of Commissioners.
A petition was presented asking for the construction of a
sanitary sewer in alley between Ellsworth Avenue and Jewell Avenue
from Fourth Street east to Osborne Street. Same was referred to the
City Engineer.
Commissioner Pafford moved that the for receiving a report
from the City Planning Commission, in reference to amending Zoning
Ordinance No. 3188, by placing Lot 9, in Surveyor's Plat "A", located
at the southwest corner of Ninth street and Walnut Street in the "C"
Commercial District, and removing the same from the "E" Residence
District be extended to October 3rd, 1932 at 5:00 P. M.
Commissioner Pafford moved that the time for receiving a report
from the City Planning Commission in reference to amending Zoning
j Ordinance No. 3188, by placing Lots 44, 46 and 48 on Santa Fe Avenue
a in the Grounds of the Kansas Wesleyan University in the "C" Commercial
r District and removing the same from the "A" Residence District, be
extended to October 3rd, 1932 at 5:00 P. M.
