Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners July 25, 1932. Meeting was called to order by Mayor Stevenson, the roll was called and Commissioners Stevensons Benfield, Morey and Spaeth and City Attorney Norris responded. Counnissioner Pafford absent. The minutes of the Regular Meeting of July 18th, 1932; Special Meeting of July 21st, 1932; Regular Meeting of July 21st, 1932; and I Regular Meeting of July 22nd, 1932, were read and approved as read. Eckelman On motion of Commissioner Spaeth the appointments were confirmed by the Board of Conwissioners. Conmissi ner Morey moved that sidewalk be constructed on the north side of rost Street from -Ninth Street to '!Penth Street* Motion carried. Henry He Eberhardt, City Treasurers presented to the Board of Conmissioners a proposition to furnish a new bond as City Treasurer of the City of Salim with the Standard Surety'and Casualty Company of Newyork as surety, in the -sum of $50,#000*00 as required by Ordinance, provided that such bond shall contain no provision for liability on the part of such surety for money deposited in banks to the credit of the City of Salina, in the event of the insolvency or default on the part of any such banks, and that such bond shall specially eliminate such coverage It was moved b7Commissioner Spaeth, and seconded by Commission - or Benfield, that the City Treasurers Bonds as above describeds and subject to the conditions above set forth, be approved by the Board of Commissioners when duly executed and filed* The motion was duly carried. Moved by Conmissioner Morey that City Clerk be authorized to execute release of future liability on taxicab insurance polloieg here- tofore furnished by Ed Segar, No. issued by The Mercer casualty Company and by K. G. Vanniman and L. A. Aartlett No, 121717 issued by The ikercer Uasualty Company, and that no new policy having been furnished by K. G. Vanniman covering License No. la, that said license be cancelled. Carried* On motion of Commissioner Spaeth the Board of Commissioners adjourned* M7 Clerk.
