Meeting was called to order by Mayor Stevenson, the roll was called d p Commissioners Stevenson, Benfield and Spaeth and City Attorney Norris responded. Conanissioners Morey and afford absent. An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance making an appropriation for the payment of certain claims." On motion of Commissioner Spaeth the ordinance was read and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the..roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Stevenson, Benfield and Spaeth (3) Days: (0) Commissioners Morey and Pafford absent. Mayor approved the same and is numbered 4173. An ordinance was.introduced for sepond reading entitled: "An ordinance providing for the curbing and gattering of north side of Aspublic Avenue from the west line of Ninth 55treet to eiLat line of TiR_eefs nand providing for the cost thereof, how the same shall be assessed and the manner of payment therefor. On motion of Commissioner Benfield the ordinance was read and adopted by sections. and on its final. adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had;. Ayes: Stevenson, Benfield and Spaeth -(3) Nays: (0) Commissioners Morey and Pafford absent. Mayor approved.the same and is numbered 4174. It -An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled: "An ordinance providing for the improving of certain portions of Ninth Street from the south line of.Jewell Avenue to center line o`3"" Vlot-Ld Street, and providing for the cost thereof, how the same shall be assessed and the manner of payment therefor." On motion of Commissioner Spaeth the ordinance was read and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was ; Ayes: Stevenson Benfield and S paeth (3} ays: ( ) Commissioners Morey and fafford absent. Mayor approved the same and is numbered 4175. On motion of Commiasioner Benfield the Board of Commission- ers adjourned.
