Special mooting of the Board of Commissioners,, June 27,, 1932* Meeting was called to order by MayorStevenson, the roll was called and Commissioners Stevenson, Benfield, Morey and Spaeth and City Attorney. Norris responded.- Commissioner Pafford absent. Meeting was heldforthe purpose. of acting on the appraisers reports for curbing-# gutteringand paving improvements on: Chicago Street from Walnut,.Street to State Street; Front Itreet River; Walnut Street south to Smoky Hill River highland Circle from Ellsworth Avenue to Beloit Avenue; Jewell Avenue from Ninth.Street to Eleventh Street; lhirwin Avenue from Santa Fe Avenue to Fourth Street; Ohio Street from Iron Avenue to Gypsum Avenue; Sunset Drive from Highland Circle.to Pershing Street. Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioner's, June 27, 1932. Meeting was called to order byMayor Stevenson, the roll was called and Commissioners Stevenson, Bonfield,. Morey and Spaeth and City Attorney. Norris responded.._ Commissioner Pafford absent. The minutes of the Regular Meeting of June 20, 19328 were read and approved as read. An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled: "An ordinance.relating to And fixing the salaries and wages of certain officers and employees of the City of Salina." On motion of Commissioner Spaeth the ordinance was read and adopted by sections and .on its final.adoption the roll was called abd the following votegas had; Ayes Stevenson, Benfield, Morey and Spaeth (4) Drays: O) Commissioner Pafford absent. The Mayor approved the same and is. numbered .4169. Application No. 62 asking for the erection of a temporary cloth sign on front of building located at 142.South Santa Fe venue (J. C. Penney Company) was received, and on motion.of Comnissi oner Morey same was approved by the, Board of Comissioners. Combination Gas Fitters & Plumbers Bond received from: the Mid -West Plumbing C ompany, and Commissioner Benfield moved that same be approved and that old bond be cancelled.
