DECEMBER 1, 1933.
IRegular meeting of the Board of Commissioners December 10
1933. Meeting was called to order by Mayor Stevenson, the roll was
called and Commissioners Stevenson, Pafford, Peters and Spaeth and
City Attorney Norris responded. Commissioner Morey absent.
i An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled:
"An ordinance ordering owners of property on Ninth Street between
j Pacific Avenue and Euclid Avenue in the City of Salina to lay water
service pipes."

1 On motion of Commissioner Spaeth the ordinance was read and
! adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and
the following vote was had; Ayes: Stevenson, Pafford, Peters and
Spaeth (4) Nays: (0) Commissioner Morey absent. Mayor approved
the same and is numbered 4326.
An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled: "An
ordinance providing for the curbing, guttering and paving of Univer-
811a Place from the east line of Baker Street to the west line of
TwelfthStreet, and providing for the cost thereof,,. how the same
shall be assessed and the manner of payment therefor."
On motion of Commissioner Pafford same was referred to the
Board of Commissioners.
An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled: "An
ordinance providing for the curbing, guttering and paving of Columbia
Avenue from the north line of Ash Street to the south line of Elm
Street, and providing for the cost thereof, how the same shall be
assessed and the manner of payment therefor."
On notion of Commissioner Peters same was referred to the
Board of Commissioners.
Johnson Brothers Construction filed Maintenance Bond and
Statutory Bond for the reconstruction of
Waterworks Building. On
motion of Commissioner Spaeth same
was approved by the Board of Commis-
sioners.
