NOVEMM 18a 1933.
Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners November 18,
1933. Meeting was called to order by Acting Mayor Pafford, the roll
was called and Commissioners Morey, Pafford, Peters and Spaeth
responded. Commissioner Stevenson and City Attorney Norris absent.
A resolution was introduced entitled: "A Resolution accepting.
trust proposal of the governor of Kansas for the establishment and
operation of a Federal Relief Fund from Federal Relief Funds, for
the payment of work relief wages on a Work Relief Project entitled:
"Grading and drainage of Kenwood Park Athletic Field and removal of
center parkways."
On motion of Commissioner Morey the resolution was adopted
as read and on its final adoption the roll was called and the follow-
ing vote was had; Ayes: Morey, Pafford# Peters and Spaeth (4)
Nays: (0) Commissioner Stevenson absent. Acting.Mayor approved
the same and is numbered 591.
The above resolution is recorded in full on Page 253 of
Resolution Book lumber 2.
A resolution was introduced entitled: "A Resolution accepting_
trust proposal of the Governor of Kansas for the establishment and
operation of a Federal Relief Fund from Federal Relief Funds, for
the payment of work relief wages on a Work Relief Project entitled:
"Tree Trimming and Cutting Wood."
On motion of. Commissioner Peters the resolution was adopted
as read and on its final adoption the roll was called and the fol-
lowing vote was had; Ayes: Morey, Pafford, Peters and Spaeth (4)
Nays: (0) Commissioner Stevenson absent. Aeting,.Mayor approved
the same and is numbered 592•
The above resolution is recorded in full on Page 254 of
Resolution Book Number 2.
On motion of Coxwdssioner Spaeth the Board of Commissioners
adjourned.
