Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners November 10#
1953. Meeting was called to order by Mayor Stevenson, the roll
was called and Commissioners Stevenson* Pafford, Peters and Spaeth
and City Attorney Norris respondedo Commissioner Morey absent.
Bids for the reconstruction of pumping station of the Waterworks
Department received as follows:

City Engineers estimate for the above named improvements was

Commissioner Peters moved that the contract be awarded to
Johnson Brothers Construction Company as per their bid submitted,
w
I h the understanding that the code wages be paid, namely 450;
62 amd $1.10 per hour* Contract let spbject to the approval of
the Federal Emergency Administration of ublic Works, and that the
checks be returned to the unsuccessful bidders. Notion adopted.
On motion of Commissioner Pafford the Board of Commissioners
adjourned*
