Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners October 9, 1933.
Meeting was called to order by Mayor Stevenson, the roll was called
and Commissioners Stevenson, Pafford, Peters and Spaeth and City Attor-
ney Norris responded. Commissioner Morey absent.

The minutes of the Regular Meeting of October 2nd, 1933;
Regular Meeting of October 3rd, 1933; and Regular Meeting of October
6th, 1933, were read and approved as read.
An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance making an
appropriation for the payment of certain claims."
On motion of Commissioner Pafford the ordinance was read and
adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and
the following vote was had; Ayes: Stevenson, Pafford, Peters and
Spaeth (4) Nays: (0) Commissioner Morey absent. Mayor approved the
same and is numbered 4313.
Applications for licenses for the sale of malt and cereal
beverages for the last quarter of 1933 received as follows:

On motion of Commissioner Pafford same mre approved by the
Board of Commissioners.
City Engineer submitted plans and specifications and estimate
of cost for the construction of Storm Sewer No. 9-A and Lateral Sani-
tary Sewer No. 168. Commissioner Peters moved that same be approved
by the Board of Commissioners. Carried.
Moved by Commissioner Spaeth and seconded by Commissioner
Peters that City Managers City Engineer and Park Superintendent be
directed to investigate the possibility of making permanent improve-
ments in Highland Court Park as a work projects, and that they make
their recommendations and report to the Board of Commissioners as
soon as possible. Carried.
On motion of Commissioner Pafford the Board of Commissioners
adjourned*
