COMMISSIONERS ROOM,
SALINA, KANSAS.
OCTOBER 6, 1933.
Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners, October 6,
1933. Meeting was called to order by Mayor Stevenson, the roll was
called and -Commissioners Stevenson, Morey, Pafford, Peters and Spaeth
and City Attorney Norris responded.
An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled:
"An ordinance providing for the construction of a certain storm sewer
in the City of Salina to be designated as Storm Sewer No. 9A and
providing for the manner in which such improvement is to be done and
the manner of payment of the cost thereof."
On motion of Commissioner Morey the ordinance was read and
adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and
the following vote was had; Ayes: Stevenson, Morey, Pafford, Peters
and Spaeth (5) Nays: (0) Mayor approved the same and is numbered
4311.
An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled: "An
ordinance creating and defining a certain lateral sanitary sewer dis-
trict in the City of Salina designated as lateral sewer district
No. 168, providing for the construction of a lateral sanitary sewer in
such district and for the cost thereof and for the levying of special
assessments against the property in such district for thepayment of
such cost, and for the issuing of bonds therefor."
On motion of Commissioner Spaeth the ordinance was read and
adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called
and the following vote was had; Ayes: Stevenson, Morey, Pafford,
Peters and Spaeth (5) Nays: (0) Mayor approved the same and is
numbered 4312.

A resolution was introduced entitled: "A Resolution relat-
ing to the removal of the center parking on Claflin Avenue between
Santa Fe Avenue and Highland Avenue and for the repaving of such
�I portion of said street."
On motion of Commissioner Pafford the resolution was adopted
as read and on its final adoption the roll was called and the follow-
invote was had; Ayes: Stevenson, Morey, Pafford, Peters and Spaeth
(5 Nays: (0). Mayor approved the same and is numbered 580.

On motion of Commissioner Spaeth the'Board of Commissioners
adjourned.
