COMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, REGULAR MEETING
COMMISSIONERS ROOM,
SALINA, KANSAS.
JULY 24, 1933.
Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners July 24, 1933.
Meeting was called to order by Acting Mayor Pafford, the roll was
called and Commissioners Morey, Pafford, Peters and Spaeth and City
Attorney Norris responded. Commissioner Stevenson absent.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of July 17th, 1933, were
read and approved as read.
An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance making
an appropriation for the payment of certain claims.rr
On motion of Commissioner Morey the ordinance was read and
adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and
the followinvote was had; Ayes: Morey, Pafford, Peters and Spaeth
(4) Nays: 0) Commissioner Stevenson absent. Acting Mayor ap-
proved the same and is numbered 4292.
i A petition was presented asking for the location of a street
I light at the corner of Forrest and Third Streets. Same was re-
ferred to the City Manager.
A communication was received from the Chamber of Commerce
in reference to community projects that could be considered under
the Industrial Recovery Act. Same was ordered filed.
I On motion of Commissioner Morey the Board of Commissioners
