07-17-1933 MinutesCOMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, REGULAR MEETING COMMISSIONERS ROOM, SALINA, KANSAS. JULY 17, 1933. Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners July 17, 1933. Meeting was called to order by Acting Mayor Pafford, the roll was called and Commissioners Morey, Pafford, Peters and Spaeth and City Attorney Norris responded. Commissioner Stevenson absent. The minutes of the Regular Meeting of July 10, 1933, were read and approved as read. An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance making an appropriation for the payment of certain claims." On motion of Commissioner Peters the ordinance was read and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Morey, Pafford, Peters and Spaeth (4) Nays: (0) Commissioner Stevenson absent. Acting Mayor approved the same and is numbered 4290. An ordinance was.introduced entitled: "An ordinance making an appropriation for the payment of certain claim.s.t' On motion of Commissioner. Morey the ordinance was read and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Morey, Pafford, Peters and Spaeth (4) Nays: (0) Commissioner Stevenson absent. Acting Mayor ap- proved the same and is numbered 4291. A resolution was introduced entitled: "A resolution accepting trust propcs al of the Governor of Kansas for the establishment and operation of an emergency relief fund from federal emergency relief funds, for the payment of work relief wages on Xork Relief Project No. 14-5A entitled "Street Improvement and Repair." On motion of Commissioner Morey the resolution was adopted as read and on its final adoption the roll was called and the followin vote was had; Ayes: Morey, Pafford, Peters and Spaeth (4) Nays: Commissioner Stevenson absent. Acting Mayor approved the same and is numbered 570. The above resolution is recorded in full on Page 230 of Reso- lution Book Number 2. A resolution was introduced entitled: "A Resolution accepting trust proposal of the Governor of Kansas for the establishment and operation of an emergency relief fund from federal emergency relief funds, for the payment of work relief wages on Work Relief Project No. 14-5E entitled, "Water Main Extension." On motion of Commissionre Morey the resolution was adopted as read and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Florey, Pafford, Peters and Spaeth (4) Nays: (0) Commissioner Stevenson absent. Acting Mayor approved the same and is numbered 571.
