Meeting was called to order by Mayor Stevenson, the roll was called and Commissioners Stevenson, Morey, Pafford, Peters and ! Spaeth and City Attorney Norris responded. e The minutes of the Regular Meeting of June 5th, 1933s were read and approved as read. 'i Funding Bonds in the sum of $71,966.73, as authorized by I f Ordinance Number 4275, were placed on sale in accordance with the notice published by the City Clerk. Offers were received from: City Bank & Trust Company, Kansas City, Missouri. Columbian Title & Trust Co., Topeka, Kansas. Brown-Crummer Company, Wichita, Kansas. Commerce Trust Company, Kansas City, Missouri. Wayne J. Estes and Company, Topeka, Kansas. The highest offer for said bonds was made by Wayne J. Estes { and Com any, at a price of par and accrued interest, plus a pre- mium of 11.23 per Hundred. Commissioner Spaeth moved that the offer be accepted and that all of said bonds be sold to said Wayne J. j Estes & Company for such price, and that the Mayor and City Clerk be authorised to sign a contract for the delivery of said bonds at i said price, subject to the approval of the transcript by the attorneys for the purchaser. Motion carried. An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled: "An ordinance relating to and apportioning and levying special j assessments on certain lots and pieces of ground in the City of Salina to pay the cost of repaving Santa Fe Avenue from the north line of Elm Street to the south line o a nu treet in the City of Salina, Kansas, and relating to and providing for the collection and i payment of such assessments." I On motion of Commissioner Morey same was referred to the Board of Commissioners. An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled: "An ordinance relating to and apportioning and levying special assessments on certain lots and pieces of ground in the City of Salina to pay the cost of recurbing Santa Fe Avenue from the north line of Ash Street to the north line of Elm Street in the City of Salina,'Kansas, and relating to and providing for the collection and payment of such assessments." On motion of Commissioner Peters same was referred to the Board of Commissioners. An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled: "An ordinance relating to and apportioning and levying s�ecial assessments on certain lots and pieces of ground in the ity of Salina to pay the cost of recurbin Santa Fe Avenue from the north line of Ash Street to the south line of _W- reet in the City of Salina, Kansas, and relating to and providing for the collection and payment of such assessments.' On motion of Commissioner Pafford same was approved by the Board of Commissioners. An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled: "An ordinance relating to and regulating parking of vehicles on cer twin portions of Santa Fe Avenue in the City of Salina, End providing a penalty for the violation of this ordinance." On motion of commissioner Spaeth same was referred to the Board of Commissioners. On motion of Commissioner Morey the Board of Commissioners adjourned to meet on June i33 1933: C i y Cleric�
