Meeting was called to order by Mayor
and Commissioners Ste venson, Morey,
City Attorney Norris responded.

Stevenson, the roll was called
Pafford, Peters and Spaeth and
Commissioner Pafford moved that the contract for the construct-
ion of Storm Sewer No. 11-A, for which bids were received May 9th,
1933, be awarded to the H. J. Taylor Construction Company as per bid
submitted, and that certified check of the unsuccessful bidder be re-
turned by the City Clerk; also that Mayor be authorized to sign con-
tract on behalf of the City with H. J. Taylor Construction Company
for such work. Motion carried by the following vote; Ayes: Steven-
son, Morey, Pafford, Peters and Spaeth (5) Nays: (0)
An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled: "An
ordinance amending Section 4 of Ordinance No. 3317 as amended by
Section 1 of Ordinance No. 3336 relating to and regulating the parking
of vehicles on certain streets in the City of Salina and providing a
penalty for the violation of such ordinance, and repealing said
original sectlohas amended."
On motion of Commissioner Spaeth the ordinance was read and
adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and
the following vote was had; Ayes: Stevenson, Morey, Pafford, Peters
and Spaeth (5) Nays: (0) Mayor approved the same and is numbered
4261.
On motion of Commissioner Peters the Board of Commissioners
adjourned.
