Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners May 9, 19336
Meeting was called to order by Acting Mayor Pafford, the roll was
called and Commissioners More7s Pafford, Peters an ' d Spaeth and
City Attorney Norris responded. Commissioner Stevenson absent*
A petition was presented asking for the location of a street
light on the corner of Phillips Street and Spruce Street. Same
was referred to the City Manager*
Bids for the construction of Storm Sewer No. 11-A as advertised
for received from:
Reed & 'Wheelock, Clay Center, Kansas.
Peterson Construction Company, Salina, Kansas.
H. J. Taylor Construction Co., Salina, Kansas.
City Engineers estimate of cost for the above work was read.
Commissioner Morey moved that the bid of H. J. Taylor Con-
struction Company and Peterson Construction Company, be held until
May 10th, 1933 at 5:00 P. M., and that the Certified check of Reed
and Wheelock be returned by the City Clerk. Motion carried.
On motion of Commissioner Morey the Board of Commissioners
adjourned*
