Dear Mr. Brown: This letter will confirm the action of the Board of Public Works at a meeting held at 4:00 olclock P. M. April 27, 1533, in which.approval was given for-the.construe.tion-of a storm sewer, accord- ing to plans and specifications -submitted by the City Engineer, locat- ed in Fourth street_.from Claflin to Minneapolis. The estimated cost being approximately $6,000.00. Approval being made.on the.aasumption that approximately $2700.00 of the estimate. cost of labor be . furnished from R. F. C. Funds. On motion'of'Commissioner Peters same was referred to the Board of Commissioners. A resolution was introduced entitled: "A Resolution accepting -Trust Proposal of the. Governor of. -Kansas for the establish- ment and - operation- of an emergency ' relies' fund. from federal emergency relief funds, for the payment_ of work relief wages on Work Relief Project No.14-5C, entitled, "Park Improvement." Commissioner Pafford imoved` that: resolution be adopted as read. and .on. its final. adoption: :the roll. was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Stevenson,. Pafford, Peters and Spaeth (4) Nays: (0) Commissioner Morey absent. Mayor approved the same and is numbered 564. The above resolution is.recor ded in full on Page 224 of Resolution Book Number 2.
