COMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, REGULAR MEETING.
COMMISSIONERS ROOM,
SALINA, KANSAS.

Regular meeting of the Board of � oimnissioners, April 28,
1933. Meeting was called to order by Mayor Stevenson, the roll was
called and Commissioners Stevenson, Morey, Peters and Spaeth and
City Attorney Norris responded. Commissioner Pafford absent.
j An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance making
an appropriation for the payment of certain claims."
On motion of Commissioner Spaeth the ordinance was read and
adopted by Sections and on its final adoption the roll was called
and the following vote was had; Ayes: Stevenson, Morey, Peters
and Spaeth (4) Nays: (0) Commissioner Pafford absent, payor
approved the same and is numbered 4253.
A petition was presented asking the City Commissioners to make
some provision for the operation of an Open Air Dancing Pavilion
in Oakdale Park. Commissioner Peters moved that said petition
be referred to the welfare Board.
Commissioner Spaeth 'moved that the City Clerk be direeted to
compile.aFfinancial statement of the City as required by House Bill
Number 745 enacted by the 1933 session of the Legislature of the
State of Kansas, containing the matters required by law to be in
said statement, at the close of business on Apprril 30,.1933, and
submit same to the Board of Commissioners at Sts first meeting
thereafter. Carried.
, On motion of Commissioner Morey the Board of Commissioners
adjourned*
