Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners April 11th,
1933. Meeting was called to order by Acting Mayor Morey, the
roll was called and Commissioners Morey* Pafford and Spaeth and
City Attorney Norris responded* Commissioners Stevenson and Paul-
sen absent*
Bids for the recurbing,of Santa Fe Avenue from Ash Street to
Elm Street as advertised for received from:
Busboom & Rauh
,, Salina,, Kansas.
H.J.Taylor Construction Co., Salina, Kansas.
City Engineers estimate for the above work was read.
Commissioner Pafford moved that contract be awarded to
H. J. Taylor Construction "orapany as per bid submitted, and that
the Mayor be authorized to sign contract on behalf of the City of
Salina for such work, also that certified check be returned by the
City Clerk to the unsuccessful bidder. Motion adopted.
On motion of Commissioner Pafford the Board of Commissioners
adjourned.
