COMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, REGULAR MEETING.
COMMISSIONERS ROOM,
SALIVA, KANSAS.
APRIL 30 1933.
Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners_ April 3rd, 1933.
Meeting was called to order by Mayor Stevenson, the..roll was called and
Commissioners Stevenson, Morgy, Pafford, Paulsen._and.Spaeth and City
Attorney Norris responded.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of March 27th.,, 19338 were read
and approved as read.
An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance making an
appropriation for the payment of certain claims."
On motion of Commissioner Pafford the ordinance was read and
adopted by sections and on its final adoption the.roll was called and
the following vote was had; Ayes: Stevenson., Morey., Pafford, Spaeth
and Paulsen (5) Nays: (0) Mayor approved the same and is numbered
4243.
City. Engineer submitted Estimate Number 1 to H. J. Taylor Con-
struction Company,.for paving improvements on Santa.Fe Avenue, under
contract dated .March__lat, 193.3. On motion .of .Coimmissioner Pafford same
was approved..by. . the.. Board-. of Commissioners.
An ordinance was.introduced entitled. "An ordinance making an
appropriation for. the _payment__of. _a ce fain. claw."
On motion. of Commissioner -Spaeth the ordinance was read and
adopted by sections and on its.final_adoption the roll was called and
the following vote was.had; Ayes: Stevenson, Morey, Pafford, Paulsen
and Spaeth (5) Nags: (0) Mayor approved the same and is numbered
4244.
An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance making an
appropriation from. the. funds.__of_the.-Wafer_ Department for the purchase of
a Temporary Note of the City_ of_ Salina."
On motion of Commissioner Pafford the ordinance was read and
adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and
the following vote was had; Ayes.: Stevenson, Morey, Pafford, Paulsen
and Spaeth (5) Nays.: (0) Mayor approved the same and is numbered
4245.
An. ordinance . was introdueed_ for..second_..reading entitled: "An
ordinance providing._for the re-curbing--of.Santa-Fe Avenue from the north
line of Ash Street .to the north line-ofJKJm 3Ereets an providing for th
' cost thereof, how the same shall be assessed and the manner of payment
therefor."
On motion of Commissioner Morey the ordinance was read and

Avenue from Walnut Street to Elm Street in the City of Salina, an
prov3a3ng for the issuance of temporary notes to pay the cost thereof
pending the issuance and sale of bonds.”
On motion of Commissioner Spaeth same was referred to the Board
j of Commissioners.
On motion of Commissioner Morey the Hoard of Commissioners
adjourned.
