03-20-1933 Minutes1 u ;J �l 1 COMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, REGULAR ME',BTING. COMMB SIONERS ROOM, SALINA, KANSAS. MARCH 20, 1933. Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners, March 20th, 1933. Meeting was called to order by Mayor Stevenson, the roll was called and Commissioners Stevenson, Morey, Pafford, Paulsen and Spaeth and City Attorney Norris responded. The minutes of the Regular Meeting of March 13th, 1933, were read and approved as read. An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance making an appropriation for the payment of certain claims." On motion of Commissioner Morey the ordinance was read and adopted by sections and on its final a doption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes; Stevenson, Morey, Pafford, Paul- sen and Spaeth (5) Nays: (0) Mayor approved the same and is num- bered 4241. An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled: "An ordinance amending Ordinance No. 3188 relating to zones and districts in the City of Salina." On motion of ,-ommissioner Spaeth sane was referred to the Board of Commissioners. Application No. 86 asking permission to erect a temporary sign. at 146 South Santa Fe Avenue was received from Hull Electric Company, and on motion of Commissioner Spaeth same was approved by the Board of Commis s ioners . Application for Pool Hall License for first half of 1933, re- ceived from: L. 0. Wilhelm, (White Way Smoker) Matt Price (Lamer Pool Hall) C.C.Chadwick & J.E.W ilhelm, Rex Smoker W. A. Wilhelm, The Smoker; On motion of Commissioner Pafford license granted. Application of M. L. Mizener for release of Electrician's Bond #6710 issued by Commerce Casualty Company from future liability was received. Moved that City Clerk be authorized to release bond from future liability. Application of Lyon Plumbing Company, for release of Plumbers Bona No. 14431 issued by Commerce Casualty Company from future lia- bility was received. Moved that City Clerk be authorized to release bond from future liability. On motion of Commissioner Morey the Board of Commissioners adjourned. Ulty Ulerk
