Regular meeting of the Board of Uommissioners, March 13, 1933. j Meeting was called to order by Mayor Stevenson, the roll was called and Commissioners Ste venson, Morey, Pafford, Paulsen and Spaeth and City Attorney Norris responded. The minutes of the Regular meeting of March 6th, 1933, were read and approved as read. An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance making an appropriation for the payment of -certain claims." On motion of Commissioner Pafford the ordinance was read and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Stevenson, Morey, Pafford, Paulsen and Spaeth (5) Nays: (0) Mayor approved the same and is numbered 4241). A resolution was introduced entitled: "A Resolution accepting trust proposal of the Governor of Kansas for the establishment and operation of an emergency relief fund from federal emergency funds, for the payment of work relief wages on Work Relief Project No. 14-18, entitled "Construction of Lateral Sanitary Sewer No. 168." l On motion of Commissioner Morey the resolution was read and adopted as read and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Stevenson, Morey, Pafford, Paulsen and Spaeth (5) Nays: (0) Mayor approved the same and is numbered 562. The above resolution is recorded in full on Page 222 of Resolu- tion wok Number 2. Mayor Stevenson a pointed the following Judges and Clerks for the Primary Election of arch 27th, 1933; and for the Regular City Election of April 4th, 1933: i FIRST WARD Judges: Minnie McKee, Mabel Horner, Homer Newland Clerks: Hester Lewis, Geraldine Bruening. Wright 11 On motion of Commissioner Morey the appointments were con- firmed by the Board of Commissioners. Mayor Stevenson appointed John Frederick, L. W. Carl and P. A. Tobin to act as appraisers in ascertaining the valuation of certain lots and pieces of ground liable to special assessment for the cost of re -curbing Santa Fe Avenue from Walnut Street to Ash Street, and for re -paving 5anfa e Avenue from Walnut Street to Elm Street. On motion of Commissioner Paulsen the appointments were con- firmed by the Board of Commissioners. Commissioner Pafford moved that White Way light poles be placed on the north side of intersection of Santa a Avenue and Elm Street. Motion carried. On motion of Commissioner Morey the Board of Commissioners adjourned.
