Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners, March 1st, 1933.
Meeting was called to order by Mayor Stevenson, the roll was called
and Uommissioners Stevenson, Morey, Pafford, Paulsen and Spaeth and
City Attorney Norris responded.
Bids for the improving of Santa Fe -i'venue from Walnut Street
to Elm Streets as advertised for, received as follows:
Busboom & Rauh, Salina, Kansas.
Reed & Wheelock- Clay Centers Kansas.
Stamey Construe;ion Company., Hutchinson., Kansas.
H.J.Taylor Construction Company, Salinas Kansas.
City► Engineers estimate for the above work was read.
Bids were tabulated by the City Engineer.
Commissioner Pafford moved that the contract be awarded to
H. J. Taylor Construction Company as per bid submitted, and that
certified checks be returned by the City Clerk to the unsuccessful
bidders; also that Mayor be authorized to sign contract on behalf of
the City. Motion carried.
On motion of Commissioner Morey the Board of Commissioners
