by Judy Nold and seconded by Brendan Burk, it was Policy for Board review. Melanie took questions from the Board. to charge for most adult programs. Amy Adams has put together
a new Programming take the new CKLS funds this year to help pay for programming so that we might not have CLASS program into Adult programming in an effort to sustain those programs.
We will The goal is to categorize all programming by age and topic. This move will move the Library Policy Manual - Programming process of stepping out of the CKLS system. and
also is going to meet with an attorney that specializes with libraries to see about the spoken with Gina at the Topeka library about the process of becoming a district library county
and 25% to go for administrative costs and small library support. Melanie has also came back to our library. The request is for CKLS to return 75% of funds back to our 2017 only
about 16% of the funds taken from Saline County residents for library services a certain percentage of taxpayer funds from Saline County return back to our library. In CKLS vs the
amount of money they receive from our county. Melanie has requested that Melanie and Brandan from the Hays library are looking at the funding we receive from complete the CKLS Trustee
Training in order for the library to receive these funds. The Public Library Service Allotment of $28,957 is new this year. The Board needs to Melanie presented a summary of the funds
that should be received from CKLS this year. 2021 CKLS Funds: reference. She also went over the Orientation list for new Board Members. Melanie went over the Board ByLaws with

community to see what we did during 2020. and review the position before trying to rehire. Our Community Engagement Dept Head The supervisor in Information Services is retiring, Amy
and Melanie will take their time 2021. We had to remove some of our storytimes online due to publishers requirements. training day on January 18th. Supervisors went over work plans
with their employees for these projects together for staff to help serve the community. We had our annual staff checkout. We are collecting soup for the community. We have a committee
that helps put been successful online. We continue to try to expand our non traditional items for Directors Report: The 2021 reading challenge has been decided on. DIY storytimes
have Santa letters remained about the same as previous years. The virtual art gallery is now showing up under events. It seems to be very well received. Activity & Stats: We reached
about 62% of material circulation compared to last year. efforts have resulted in about $3,000 of fine money or items returned. processing fees from paypal so this seems to be working
well for us. Unique collection HVAC units. We received $1200 in online payments for fines and only paid $66.00 in Wearing is going to contract to do spring cleaning and periodic
