COMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, REGULAR MEETING
COMMISSIONERS ROOM,
SALINA, KANSAS.
JANUARY 30, 1933.
Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners, January 300 1933.
Meeting was called to order by Mayor Stevenson, the roll was called
and Commissioners Stevenson, Morey, Pafford, Paulsen and Spaeth re-
sponded. City Attorney Norris absent.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of January 23rd, 1933; and
Regular Meeting of January 24th, 1933, were read and approved as read.
,An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance making an
appropriation for the payment of certain claims."
On motion of Commissioner Spaeth the ordinance was read and
adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and
the following vote was had; Ayes: Stevenson, Morey, Pafford, Paulsen
and Spaeth (5) Nays: (0) Mayor approved the same and is numbered
4230.
Chief of Police was instructed to notify all taxicab owners of
their license and insurance.
The following conrmication was received from the Garrison Insur-
ance Agency relating to the cancellation of Policy #121729 issued to
the Red Top Taxicab Company, et al:
Salina, Kansas. January 27, 1933.

Dear Sir:
We elect to cancel our Policy No. 121729 issued to the Red
Top Taxicab Company, Et Al, on April 13th, 1932 and hereby give you
ten days' notice thereof, as provided by the terms of the Ordinance
of the City of Salina, Kansas.
Take notice that on the 6th day of February 1933 at twelve o'clock
noon, or, if that date is not ten days from the receipt hereof, then
at the expiration of ten days from its receipt, the said Polio yy will
terminate and cease to be in force, and that you are requirdd to surren-
der the same to us forthwith.

City Clerk was instructed to notify owner of such cancellation.
Mr. H. D. Hayden of'the United Power & Light Corporation submit-
ted a design of a one -light steel pole for the new 'White Way on Santa
Fe Avenue. The pole to be sixteen feet light center. On motion of
Commissioner Spaeth the same was accepted and approved by the Board
of Commissioners.
On motion of Commissioner Pafford the Board of Commissioners
adjourned*
