COMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, REGULAR MEETING.
Application of J. L. Wallace for approval of plan of building
to be erected on Lot 2, Block 5, Woodland Addi tion, whiff has been
approved by the City Planning Commission was reeeivee. On motion of
Commissioner Spaeth, application approved on condition building to be
erected is approved by Thos. L. Bayne, Building Inspector.
On motion of Commissioner Spaeth the Board of Commissioners
adjourned.

Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners October 22, 1934.
Meeting was called to order by Acting Mayor Pafford, the roll was called
and Commissioners Pafford, Peters and Spaeth and City Attorney Norris
responded. Commissioner Morey absent, the_ vacancy caused by the
death of Commissioner M. A. Stevenson, Mayor not having been filled.

The minutes of the Regular meeting of October 15th, 1934.1
were read and approved
as read.
An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance making
an appropriation for the payment of certain claims."

motion of Commissioner Spaeth the ordinance was read and
adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and
the following vote was had; Ayes: Pafford, Peters and Spaeth (3)
Nays: (0) Commissioner Morey absent. Acting Mayor approved the
ordinance and it is numbered 4471.

p ition was presented asking for the construction of a
sanitary sewer to serve lots 1 to 7 inclusive, Block 5 and Lots 1 to 6
inclusive, Block 6, Leavenworth Addition to the City of Salina, Kansas.
On motion of Commissioner Peters petition was referred to the City
Engineer.
A petition was presented asking for the rezoning of Lot 7
and part of Lot 8, Block 6, Beebe's Addition to the City of Salina,
residence known as 516 South Eighth Street, from "A" residence district
to "B" residence District. On motion of Commissioner Spaeth the
petition was referred to the City Planning Commission.
I Application of Lester Cox for Taxicab Drivers license was

presented. On motion of Commissioner Peters application granted
subject to check of State Chauffeurs license by applicant.
Letters of Rebecca State Assembly and Department Adjutant
received,
