Re6ular meeting of the Board of Commissioners Se tember 17 1934. Meeting was called to order by Mayor Stevenson, the roll was called and Commissioners Stevenson, Morey, Peters and Spaeth and City Attorney Norris responded. Commissioner Pafford absent. The minutes of the Regular Meeting of September 10, 1934, were read and approved as read. An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance makinrp an appropriation for the payment of certain claims." On motion of Commissioner Spaeth the ordinance was read and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vot� was had: Ayes: Stevenson., lIorey, Peters and Spaeth (4) Nays: (0 Commissioner Pafford absent. :Mayor approved the ordinance and it is numbered 4464. The following claims to be paid from Relief Highway Fund were presented for payment: Leidigh & Havens Lumber Co., Putnam Sand Building Co. Chas. E. Banker, City Clerk H.J.Taylor Construction Co., Lee Hardwa re Company Utt Lumber 6- Coal Yard L. J. Ashton Cement X421.50 Sand 291.35 Cash paid out .for labor 204.80 Cement 159.60 Hardware Supplies 78.33 Lumber 59.13 Washers & Bolts 2.26 41216.97 Commissioner Peters moved that claims be allowed by the Board of Commissioners. An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance making an appropriation from the Relief Highway Fund for the payment of certain claims." Mayor approved the ordi- nance and it is numbered 4465. i Commissioner Spaeth moved that the City Clerk be authorized to j transfer City License No. 4808, issued to Chas. Weis., d/b/a fifty Lunch from 106 East Ash Street to 129 North Fifth Street. Motion j adopted. 1 Sign application No. 125 received from Fuller Brothers, asking for the erection of a sign on building located at 826 North Santa Fe A venue. Commissioner Morey moved that application be approved b y the Board of Commissioners. p I % Application for Pool Hall License for the last half of 1934 received as follows: L. 0. Vuilhelm, d/b/a White Way Smoker j Geo. Holzmeister. On motion, license was granted, provided that if any tables are used that are not licensed said license will be revoked. I Application for taxicab license for the balance of 1934 received from: 1Td. M. Porter. j bond.
