Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners July 2nd, 1934 1,1eeting turas c --fled to order by Mayor Stevenson, the roll was called and Commissioners Stevenson, Morey, Pafford, Peters and i Spaeth and City Attorney Norris responded. The minutes of the Regular 'Meeting of June 25, 1934, vTere read and approved as read. An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance making an appropriation for the payment of certain claims." On motion of Commissioner Spaeth the ordinance was read and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote eras had; Ayes : Stevenson, lHorey, Pafford, 2ete-rrs and Spaeth (5) T1ays: (0) Mayor approved the ordinance and it is numbered 4428. The following claim to be paid from Relief Highway Fund was presented for payment: r Chas. E Banker, City Clerk, Cash paid out for labor yp72.60 Commissioner Pafford moved that claim be approved by the Board of Commissioners. I:Iotion carried. An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance making an appropriation from the Relief Highway Ftiind for the payment of a certain claim." On motion of Commissioner Pafford the ordinance was read and ad.opteI. by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Stevenson, IIorey, Pafford, Peters and Sbaeth (5) Nays: (0) I:Iayor approved the ordinance and it is numbered 4429. City Engineer subr>mitted Estimate Number 2 to II. J. Taylor Construction Company for material furnished and labor T)erforrmed in the construction of paving improvements prior to July 2, 1934, i)nd.er contract dated Islay 3, 1934. On motion of Commissioner dorey same was approved by the "3oard of Commissioners. An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance making an appropr_ation for the payment of a certain claim." Application for taxicab license received as follows: DeLuxe Cab Company, EN. Gant Same were referred to the City Attorney. Notice was received from the 1.'ercer Casualty Company in reference to the termination July 8, 1934, of Policy Plumber 151915 issued to J. L. Bowers. City Clerk was instructed to notify lar. Bowers of such cancellation. City Clerk was instructed to publish notice of such meeting in the official City paper as provided by law.
