Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners May 28, 1934.
Meeting was called to order by Mayor Stevenson, the roll was called and
Commissioners Stevenson, Morey, Pafford, Peters and Spaeth and City
Attorney Norris responded.
The minutes of the Regular meeting of May 21st, 1934, were
read and approved as read.
An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled: "An
ordinance providing for and requiring the construction of a concrete
sidewalk along the south side of Crawford Avenue in the City of Salina
between the east line of Sherman Street and the east line of Hancock
Street.'
On motion of Commissioner Peters the ordinance was read and
adopted by sections and on its final aloption the roll was called and
the following vote was had; Ayes: Stevenson, Morey, Pafford, Peters
and Spaeth (5) Nays: (0) The Mayor approved the same and it is
numbered 4413.
Application for Pool Hall License for the first six months of
1934 was received from John S. Gordon. On motion of Commissioner."
Pafford license was granted.
Notice of cancellation of Policy Number 162964 issued to
I. S. Pyle was received from Mercer Casualty Company, effective June
7th, 1934. City Clerk was instructed to notify Mr. Pyle of such
cancellation.
On motion of Commissioner' Pafford the Board of Commissioners
adjourned.
